Review
iSkysoft DVD to iPhone Converter is a DVD ripper for Windows. It is a tool for those who want to convert DVD movies so that they can play them on the iPhone. This converter only converts files to MP4 (MPEG-4 and H.264, MOV, and M4V.). In other words, there aren't many formats you can convert to. But this is a tool designed for the iPhone. And I just hate it when I buy a converter that ends up converting to every conceivable format on Earth, when I just wanted one for my specific need. So I like that iSkysoft restricted the formats on this one. It simply is all you need to watch your movies on the iPhone.
The application also has a great design, with a nice color scheme and a good list of features. In terms of design, I love converters by both iSkysoft and Xilisoft. But I think iSkysoft edges the competition by a bit.
This DVD ripper has a video editor that can be used to add watermarks to the videos that you convert or to touch up the image a bit. It is only intended for basic edition tasks.
In terms of performance, I can't complain with the quality of the files ripped by iSkysoft DVD to iPhone Converter. They played well on my phone and the whole process was smooth, which is what really matters. |
- Easy to use.
- It works really well.
- Good format support.
